About Us

PM Design was established in 2008 and has its origin in Norway. We are three enthusiastic kayakers with a long history of racing and training. In total over sixty years of experience became Citius Kayaks. CITIUS is Latin for defeat/overcome and is often used in an Olympic context.

PM Design create lightweight kayaks for those who want to win at the track, and for people who want to use the kayak for training and overcome themselves. Our goal is to get more people out on the water, and Citius kayaks are therefore carefully designed with ergonomics and seating position in mind. We know it is the small details that make up the difference, and our kayaks should enjoy the company of well known brands of bicycles and skis. There is no reason why a beginner should have a heavier kayak than a professional athlete, therefore all Citius kayaks weigh less than 15 kg. Easy to handle, and even the widest and most stable kayaks give the paddler a sense of speed and mastery.

Our kayaks undergo the most stringent requirements for quality control, and can be delivered in many different materials such as epoxy, honeycomb, kevlar, carbon.

The first kayaks entered the market in 2008, and Citius Kayaks has already grown to become one of the market leaders in fitness kayaks in Scandinavia. PM Design aims to develop new models in line with the market development in Europe, and several new models are under development.
